How to Start the TripTended Free Trial

By the TripTended team

The TripTended free trial gives an eligible workspace a short period to try one new trip and assistant work. You can check the allowance on the Plans & billing page before choosing what to try.

This guide helps a travel advisor confirm that the trial fits, activate the allowance, and review the account before starting work. The trial is limited to seven days, one new trip and 100 assistant credits. It is a one-time trial, not a permanent free plan.

Before you start

Check these points first:

  • You can sign in to the workspace you intend to use.
  • You are its owner. Only the workspace owner can start a trial.
  • The workspace has not already claimed its trial.
  • You have one real trip you are authorized to manage. Use details you can support with your records; do not make up dates, services or supplier confirmations to fill gaps.

If you have already used a trial in the account, review the available plan options instead of creating another workspace just to claim it again.

Start the trial

  1. Sign in or create an account. Open the sign-in page for your existing workspace, or use the registration page to create an account.
  2. Open Plans & billing. From the workspace, select Plans & billing. Read the current plan, trip allowance and assistant credit balance shown for that workspace.
  3. Check who can act. If the trial button is unavailable, confirm that you are the workspace owner. A workspace that has already claimed a trial is not eligible for another one.
  4. Select “Start 7-day trial.” The allowance begins when it is granted. Check Plans & billing again: it should show the trial end date, trip allowance and available assistant credits.
  5. Use one trip deliberately. The trial includes one new trip. Each new trip counts once; editing an existing trip does not use a new-trip allowance. If you only need to understand the workflow, try one trip you already manage before creating another.

The displayed balance is the useful check. Do not rely on the word “trial” in a screen or an earlier message if the current workspace status and allowance do not match.

Make the trial useful

Choose a task whose result you can check. For example, ask the assistant to summarize a specific trip’s current records, or prepare draft proposal options from reviewed quotes. Before a write request, make sure the supporting material belongs to the right trip and is current.

After a request, open the saved result and compare dates, amounts, currency and terms with their sources. Keep an unanswered field open for review. An assistant response does not confirm a supplier, verify a payment or publish a client page. See the assistant task and review guide for request examples and a result checklist.

Assistant credits are a separate allowance from the single new trip. Requests can use different amounts, so do not assume that 100 credits equal a fixed number of completed trips or tasks. Check actual usage on Plans & billing as you go.

Check the end date and your next step

Plans & billing shows the trial end date while the trial is active. The allowance ends after seven days; check the workspace there before planning work beyond that date. The trial does not make TripTended a permanently free service. Review the current plans, trip allowances and credits if you want to keep using an included paid allowance after the trial.

When trip facts, approval, supplier status or payment evidence matter, use the relevant records and your normal review process. A trial does not change those responsibilities or make an unverified detail true.
