Free Travel Agent Software: Templates or Trials?

By the TripTended team · Trial terms checked October 19, 2026

A free worksheet and a software trial solve different problems. A worksheet can help you organize a decision without opening an account. A trial gives you temporary access to software so you can inspect a supported operation. Choose the smallest option that lets you finish the work you need today.

Use the free planner below to write one task, define an acceptable result and save an evaluation plan as a CSV. No TripTended account is required for the worksheet. The listed software offers are time-limited trials, not permanently free CRM plans.

Start with the job, not the free label

Write the result you need in one sentence. “Identify the unanswered questions in a reviewed sample document” is more useful than “try AI.” Then decide whether you need software execution or just a place to organize the work.

What you need now A useful starting point What still needs checking
Write requirements and compare open questions The free worksheet on this page Who will review the result and what evidence counts
Run a particular operation inside a product A limited trial, if that operation is included Eligibility, access, allowance, exact expiry and the next paid commitment
Keep using a service without a subscription charge A verified ongoing free plan, if you find one that fits Current provider terms, limits, region and how you can retain your work

The last row is a category to investigate, not a verified vendor recommendation. A page saying “start free” does not by itself establish ongoing free access. For the trials below, record the end condition before treating the software as part of your regular workflow.

Turn a task into an evaluation plan

Follow these steps before starting a trial or downloading your plan:

  1. Name the task and acceptable result. Use a non-sensitive sample and say what a reviewer must be able to check. A generated draft with unsupported facts has not met the requirement.
  2. Identify the option you will use. Write “free worksheet” if you only need a planning document, or name the exact product and plan you intend to inspect. This worksheet does not enroll you in that plan.
  3. Copy the actual trial end condition. If you activate a trial, use the provider’s displayed end date, time and timezone. A published duration alone is not enough to calculate your account’s exact expiry. If you have not started, write “not started”; if the information is missing, write “not confirmed.”
  4. Set your own review point. Record when you will inspect the result, using an unambiguous date, time and timezone. Keep it separate from the provider’s expiry. This planner does not create a reminder or cancel a subscription.
  5. Record the next cost or unresolved question. Use the full billing interval and currency shown by the provider. Include any required seats or add-ons separately. “Not confirmed” is a useful open item; zero is not a substitute for an unknown charge.
  6. Choose one next action. Continue with the worksheet, evaluate a limited trial, or defer until a named question is answered. A saved plan is not a purchase or proof that an operation works.

Fictional planning example: task: review a demo source for missing details; acceptable result: every stated detail has a source and missing information stays open; option: free worksheet; trial end: not using a trial; review point: a date and timezone the advisor will choose; ongoing cost: not applicable to this worksheet; next action: continue with the worksheet. This is an example plan, not a reported software result.

Save your free evaluation worksheet

Enter a software evaluation task rather than traveler names, booking references or payment details. The download contains the entries you supply. It does not create a Trip, start a trial or save a result in a product workspace.

One task, one next action

For an active trial, include the displayed date, time and timezone. Otherwise write not started or not confirmed.
For the free worksheet alone, write not applicable. For software, copy the currency and full billing commitment.

You can also copy this version into a document without using the planner:

Task:
Acceptable result and evidence:
Worksheet or product and plan:
Trial end condition, with timezone if active:
My review point:
Ongoing cost and billing terms:
Next action:
Unresolved question and person responsible:

Keep the saved file with your review notes. Its date and cost fields are your entries, not values verified by the provider. If you later change the plan or trial conditions, update the worksheet rather than relying on an earlier copy.

Check these limited trials before enrolling

These published trial lengths were checked on the date above. They are not a guarantee of feature access, regional eligibility or the number of tasks you can finish.

Product Published trial Scope or question to retain
TripTended 7 days, 1 Trip and 100 assistant credits Limited allowance; review the account-specific conditions in the trial guide
TravelJoy 7 days; no credit card required to start Confirm the exact plan access, relevant limits and what happens when the trial ends
Travefy 10 days Confirm the selected plan and any activation conditions for the operation you want to inspect

The published day count is not an extension promise or a fixed amount of AI work. TripTended’s assistant credits and new-Trip allowance are separate limits. Do not convert either vendor’s trial length into a number of completed itineraries. We have not completed comparative hands-on trials of the listed products for this article.

For a paid subscription, compare the full commitment rather than only a monthly equivalent. TripTended’s pricing page identifies its USD terms; the broader software pricing worksheet distinguishes vendors, billing intervals, currencies and unresolved costs. This page does not infer renewal, cancellation or data-retention rules for any provider.

Review the result before the next commitment

At your review point, compare the observed result with the acceptance rule you wrote. Preserve a result reference, correction needed or blocked step. If you only prepared a worksheet, do not describe the operation as tested in software.

Choose whether the worksheet is sufficient for now, a trial needs a specific additional check, or a paid plan merits further review after its terms are confirmed. Keep a way to retrieve the notes and files you are entitled to retain; verify the provider’s access and export conditions before depending on them after expiry.

A trial result does not establish a supplier booking, payment verification or readiness decision. For those separate review steps, use the travel advisor workflow guide. The useful outcome here is a saved evaluation plan and a concrete next action, not a new account opened for its own sake.

Prepared with AI assistance and edited by the TripTended team. Trial terms can change; recheck them before enrolling. The worksheet is a planning aid, and no real customer outcome, vendor performance score or completed booking is claimed.
